Believers Community Church – Karagwe Tanzania

At Believers Community Church (BCC) we carried out Phase One where we recorded over 80 participants with 60 of those having consistent attendance throughout the 5-day Levites Seminar. Each participant was given a name tag in order to facilitate interaction and networking. The participants were individuals who serve God tirelessly at BCC; they included pastors, deacons, bible teachers, Sunday school teachers, Ushers, choir members just to name a few. addressing educational challenges and empowering individuals and communities.

On this mission, we traveled a team of 19 individuals that comprised of; pastors, bible teachers, gospel musicians, catering staff, media and security personnel. On 15th March 2024, we traveled by Bus from our headquarters in Entebbe, Uganda to Karagwe, Tanzania. We had booked 9 rooms at a Guest House called Misha Lodge in Karagwe where we stayed for the duration of the seminar which ended on 22nd March 2024. The Guest House was distant from the BCC church premises so we incurred daily transport costs for 5 days (from 17th to 22nd March 2024)

ACHIEVEMENTS

Through our comprehensive training, we empowered countless church individuals and volunteers at Believers Community Church (BCC) with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to fulfill their roles effectively. Participants at BCC reported increased leadership capacity and a deeper understanding of their calling to serve the Lord.

Many participants found the Q&A sessions helpful for understanding how the program content applied to their specific church contexts or ministry roles. They were able to pose questions about how to adapt the principles and strategies taught to their unique circumstances, receiving personalized guidance and insights from our facilitators.
For example, there was a participant who had a question regarding how to serve God while doing a 9-5 job. Another asked how she could continue being a Christian and serve God when her husband is not a Christian. Some church individuals asked if there’s any significance of bringing their children to Sunday school as opposed to leaving home with their helpers. These are just some of the many questions asked.

Our emphasis on spiritual formation led to profound personal and communal transformation within Believers Community Church (BCC). During spiritual formation we focus on nurturing and cultivating the spiritual growth and maturity of participants in their journey of faith and ministry. Many individuals at BCC experienced deepened faith, renewed passion for ministry, and a greater sense of connection to God and their communities.
